Wicked is not good

Wicked is not good

Have you ever felt totally powerless in a life or death situation? When someone or a group of people are forcing you to sacrifice yourself for an important task. Apparently it's more important than your life. This is how Thomas and the gladers feel whenever WICKED repeatedly forces them to test for the variables. Throughout the books " The Maze Runner, Scorch Trials, and The Death Cure," all by James Dashner, Thomas and all the other immune's forcefully tested by WICKED, have endured pain and suffering almost everyday of their lives thanks to WICKED. They have reached their breaking point. Over time the flare disease has started to spread even more rapidly. WICKED is trying to stop the spreading of the flare but even though their goals are good, how they are trying to reach those goals are inhuman.

In the book "The Maze Runner," the characters are constantly losing friends and companions to WICKED. The gladers want revenge so badly but they know when going against WICKED you will lose. They always know what you are doing and where. For example, at the end of the book when the gladers thought they had escaped the maze, WICKED gained control of one of them and forced him to kill his friend. It turns out their escape was all part of the trials. WICKED wanted it to happen all along. This infuriated the gladers even more. In the book, "The Scorch Trials," gladers were constantly dying because of WICKED. More than half of them died trying to survive the scorch. Even though the spreading of the flare needs to stop, using innocent teenagers for their tests that most likely lead to death, is not the way to find it. Every time the gladers think they're save from WICKED, WICKED surprises them. They force the gladers to move to the next stage of the trials. This  is constantly a problem because it is hard for the gladers to tell what is real and what WICKED planned to happen. In the book "The Death Cure," WICKED decides to pretend that the trials are over. When the gladers escape the WICKED compound, WICKED stops at nothing to recapture Thomas so he can finish the final test and create the blueprint of the cure. No one feels safe when they know WICKED is after them. This is why WICKED must go. They say their cure will safe the human race but by trying to save it WICKED is destroying it.

In conclusion, WICKED's intentions are good but killing is not the way to find a cure. Throughout all three books the gladers had to put up with death, and suffering because of WICKED's constant experimenting. The immunes have had enough of this. WICKED is trying to save all of human race but by using all of their money and supplies the minds of the cranks are becoming past the gone. Thomas and his friends are doing their best to stop WICKED and their experiments. The killing is going to stop. Thomas and the other gladers are determined for revenge and closer.
